In CountryMelvin pulled his pulp forest truck into the enactment area and unhooked the promo near the pass on crane. The sun was merely setting over the grass as he drove his cab around to the old concrete block personnel. He was the last one in and knew the yard boss was available to give him torture about it.” the older redneck shouted as Melvin stepped inside the cold scope. Everybody else went home hours ago. I been sittin’ here thoughts if I should crash one of my trucks stolen! I’ve half a mind to fire your ass!”
fistfuck“Yea? I got partly a mind to wop you up side the head” Melvin answered as he serenely walked to the period clock.
“Don’t fuck with me” the Boss replied “Tater held he passed you route out fully wealthy at 3 o’clock. Where’d you pen off to that took you all daylight to get back in?”
“Bullshit!” the Boss shouted “Even you aint powerfully up enough to bond your wick in any of that swamp female pussy.
“Nope.” Melvin smiled “A fasten of college kids got puzzled in the smooth and they untaken me a transact business to help them out. The girl was hot and took it every place that I could put it.” Melvin replied “You gonna decipher about this one in Penthouse. I’ll see you in the cock-crow.”
“Ok Boss” Melvin believed as he headed for the entrance.
“Hey!” the Boss shouted as the metal entrance slammed. “I aint paying for you to pen around chasing pussy ‘less you be sold for some back to me!”
Melvin laughed as he climbed into the taxicab of his long-standing pick up.
The roast and sweat took him back in his reminiscence. The girl today reminded him of someone he had acknowledged a long schedule ago. As he stared out at the murky road bed his awareness drifted back to a area far away. Where the nights were lengthy, the days were longer and the boil and passion of hostilities surrounded him...
“Sergeant Melvin?” the fresh nurse asked.
“Yea, that’s me. The female bureaucrat was slim and had her strawberry blonde hair pulled back behind her cranium “Yes Ma’am, I average.”
“I’m nurse Olsen” she held looking at his chart “Looks resembling you got a lucky break today”
“You call that auspicious?” Melvin asked.
“Well, in view of you survived with only a sprained ankle, a possible concussion and some bruises I’d roughly you were auspicious.”
“How’s the LT?”
“He’s good enough too” she smiled “thanks to you. I reflect he’s putting you in for a effigy star. He says he wouldn’t be blooming if you hadn’t pulled him out of there.”
“That’s not the way he tells it” She smiled and looked back at his chart. “So, how are you hunch?” He groaned “Surprised?”
“It takes a luck to surprise me.” She believed, hanging his chart on a nail wedged into a stilted tent support. I’ve got to sit with you tonight and promote to sure you don’t go to have a lie-down.”
“Why can’t I catnap!?” Melvin protested.” She thought cheerily as she walked down the protracted row of empty cots. Keep your eyes commence, ok?”
“Yes Ma’am, I guess” Melvin complained as he watched her pace away. She was one of those intermittent women who was totally symmetrical and couldn’t prevent but be sexy. Her breasts were generous and firm though well confined interior the uniform. Her hips rolled out to make more noticeable the succulent bottom of a fresh woman at her prolific prime. She made the unit look even improve by blousing her trousers into her jungle boots causing her pants to stretch tightly against her long legs and tempting ass.
Melvin’s consider abruptly ended when she stepped slight and the timber door slammed behind her. Being a southerner he felt guilty about lusting after the beautiful white woman but he figured after breathing for months in the grassland his imagination could take some liberties. Two rows of empty organic cots lined the work of art walls with a pathway down the meeting point.
Occasional seams in the enmesh allowed him a limited view of the slim world. He could see that the sun was location and the darkness were growing longer. It struck him as anomalous that there was barely movement between the tents. Usually the Defense Force hospitals were full of life with activity and clatter. Melvin wondered where everyone had passed away.
When the nurse returned Sgt. Melvin asked “Where is one and all? “We’re moving out.”
“What front?” Melvin asked.
“Good question” She said with a grin “but the missiles has been receiving closer and the brass is concerned that we’ll be vulnerable if there is a full scale NVA attack. Anyway, the shells freak me out so I’m not disorganize about it. We’re pulling out in a few years and everybody but a skeleton crew of nurses and a few MPs has stirred already.”
“That’s the defective news.” She frowned, “the Doctor says you’ll be good enough before we close up down and this is closer to your detachment. As soon as you are skilled, you’re supposed to organize back to your crowd. Do not slip away go, do not pull together $100.” Melvin sighed.
“I’m wretched.” she understood.
“Its ok” he mused “the LT would perhaps get them all killed if I stayed left too long.”
“There, there” she chided “we Officers aren’t all that terrible.”
“True” he held looking her in the eye “some are gorgeous nurses.”
“Well aren’t we the little brownnoser,” she replied and sat down in a folding chair nearby. She had brought a stack of magazines which she laid on the oil floor of the exhibition area. “Here’s how this factory. I’m here from 6 to 9, that’s 1800 to 2100, to you recurrent Army types. Sgt. Steinway is here from 9 to 12, Physical Fenton is here from 12 to 3 and then I’ll be back to keep you stirring between 3 and 6. Got it?”
“I got it alright” Melvin groaned “the first dark in months where I don’t have to put in the mud and I’m not permissible to go to have a lie-down.”
The next two hours went suddenly and the two got along so well that the magazines unqualified on the milled ignored. Both told stories about mother country and family. She told him that she and her spouse had been married after college and lived in San Francisco. She noticeably missed her spouse greatly and couldn’t delay to get family.” Melvin irrevocably asked.
